JWJ has led the grassroots coalition that delivered health care to thousands of Missourians. For the past three years, JWJ has defeated nearly a hundred bills that have sought to undermine our democracy by destroying the ballot initiative process. The event will feature former Congressman Russ Carnahan and Former Supreme Court Justice Mike Wolff to help explain exactly what is at stake with our democracy, and Brooke Adams, the movement and politics director of People’s Action who will explain how grassroots groups like JWJ do the work needed to connect with voters.
