SAINT CHARLES COUNTY OFFICIALS
County Executive
County Council

David Veneziano
St. Charles County Executive
David and his wife Liz are proud residents of St. Charles.
David grew up in Massachusetts attending college there and earning his BS in Physics and after an MBA from University of South Carolina.
David finds issue in the fact that the current STC county executive has held his seat for twenty years, he wants to see term limits for St. Charles.
He has witnessed many county executives focusing on national culture war issues rather than focusing on the issues our residents face.
He was an opponent to the recent attempt to bring a data center to St. Charles and the recent legislation approving a contract with ICE.
From housing reform to broader regional cooperation, David has many ideas on improving the quality of life for our residents.

Monica Balestreri
County Council - District 7
Monica is running for county council because she believes local government works best when it's transparent, accountable and grounded in community input.
For more than a decade she has worked behind the scenes to make our neighborhoods safer and our emergency services faster. She started her career in public safety with St. Charles City Police Dept. and then St. Charles Emergency Communications. Her role was simple but critical: make sure the right information gets to the right people at the right time.
Her campaign is about bringing people together and remembering that the person across from you isn't your enemy -- they're your neighbor.
She will prioritize data-driven decision making and open dialogue with residents & fellow board members. Monica believes the solutions come from the people who live and work here every day. She will listen first, focus on fact, and work collaboratively.
